Art lets me breathe outside the box the world puts us in. It’s the only place where truth and madness shake hands.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I primarily create acrylic paintings that explore the human experience through emotion, symbolism, and transformation. My work is inspired by masters like Salvador Dalí and Picasso, whose ability to bend reality shaped my perspective. However, Romero Britto profoundly influenced me over 30 years ago, showing me that art can be both deeply expressive and universally uplifting.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from deep personal experiences and spiritual reflection. I draw from moments of pain, growth, and transformation, translating them into visual stories. Art, for me, is a way to process what isn’t easily spoken—turning emotion, energy, and introspection into something others can feel and connect with on a human level.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to continue creating and sustain myself as an artist, allowing me the freedom to fully dedicate my time to my work. It would also help me expand my creative projects, invest in materials, and bring more meaningful pieces to life that connect with others on a deeper level.
