My favorite type of art to create is fiber art, specifically tufted rugs that combine texture, color, and function. I’m drawn to it because it creates an experience, not just something to look at. The softness and dimension bring each design to life in a bold yet comforting way. I enjoy using yarn like paint, blending colors to transform ideas into expressive, tangible pieces that can elevate any space.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the creative exchange between myself and the people I create for. When someone brings me an idea, I’m inspired by the challenge of turning it into something even more powerful than they imagined. Seeing their vision come to life motivates me every time. I’m also inspired by my own growth, constantly pushing myself to improve my technique and create work that truly reflects my potential.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would create a stronger financial foundation by resolving past setbacks and investing into my business to elevate it to the next level. This would move me closer to financial freedom and long-term stability. I would also give back through donation and support my 66-year-old mother, helping her move toward a more secure future. Most importantly, I would use this opportunity to lead by example and show my family that choosing your own path through art is possible.
