My favorite art to create lives in that gritty, noir-drenched space between shadow and story—1970s–1980s horror and fantasy comic energy. Heavy black inks, bold lines, relentless cross-hatching… every mark intentional. I’m not chasing perfection—I’m chasing truth. Emotion. The kind of imagery that feels like it crawled out of something real and refuses to be ignored.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the collision of lived experience and imagination—trauma, resilience, love, and contradiction. It’s in the quiet moments, the breaking points, the stories people carry but can’t always say. Film, music, myth, and human behavior all feed it—but it always comes back to truth. I don’t invent meaning—I uncover it and give it form.
What would you do with $25,000?I’d use $25,000 as a bridge from survival to stability. First, secure housing, food, and transportation—basic stability. Then invest in my work: tools, a strong online presence, and promotion for my art, poetry, and essays. Finally, create sustainability by building income streams like commissions and publications, while keeping a buffer so I’m not forced back into survival mode.
