I create art to express how I see the world, shaping both reality and my inner thoughts into something I can understand and share
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to create is collage. I work with found materials and fragments of my earlier paintings, cutting and recomposing them into new forms. I’m drawn to the way existing pieces can be transformed, each carrying a past life while becoming something else. It reflects how I see the world—always in motion, evolving, even through decay and death.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in many places—plants and insects, the colors hidden in a pile of trash, as well as architecture, fashion, and people who are unapologetically themselves. I’m drawn to contrasts between the natural and the overlooked, and to moments where beauty appears unexpectedly, revealing new ways of seeing and understanding the world around me. It keeps my curiosity active in both familiar and unfamiliar spaces.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the prize money to travel and explore art and creativity across different cultures and countries. In this moment, what feels most important is building real connections with other artists and creatives—learning from one another, sharing perspectives, and growing together through those experiences.
