I create art to tell stories. I love that stories connect us to others. Stories through art is how I communicate and find clarity.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I mostly enjoy painting on canvas, creating works for people to enjoy in a gallery or in a personal space.
Where do you find inspiration?Much of my inspiration comes from mythology, history, and the fluid symbolism found in nature and humanity. These influences are not referenced directly, but instead absorbed and reinterpreted into new visual languages. Figures, flora, and ornamentation intertwine, often blurring the boundary between the human and the otherworldly.
What would you do with $25,000?With 25,000 I’d be able to happily invest further into my art career. I would use the funds to invest in materials and tools that elevate the quality of my work while slowing down to develop a cohesive art series rooted in storytelling and mythology. This project would allow me to fully explore ideas I’ve only been able to approach in fragments. I would also use part of the funding to share the work more widely with advertising and social media platforms.
