I create art to distract myself from horrors of the world and my part in them as a disabled veteran of the United States Army Infantry

I like to mix surrealism with a comic book style, but my favorite medium would have to be painting. Putting brush to canvas and creating something truly unique. Sometimes awful. I absolutely love to use animals as my main subjects for a lot of my paintings.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the nature around me here in Washington state. The solitude of the Pacific Northwest and the closeness I have with animals out here.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest it into my education! The VA education benefits unfortunately do not cover everything they should. I could also help my beautiful wife pay off her car with some of the money. She is the most patient and compassionate woman who has been helping me through the process of being a disabled veteran.
