I create art as a way of alchemizing what I have processed and express what words cannot. Always guided, rarely planned, just flow with it.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I’ve dabbled in a number of mediums, drawing, ink, wood work, poetry, music(DJ), paint and sculpt. More recently I’ve enjoyed making small sculptures quite the bit. Felt like a calling of the sort.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration in the depths of self, how to make ideas visible and emotions tangible. Magic, divinity and cosmic ideas, there’s something about it that’s connected and entwined and that curiosity drives me to explore that connection through a range of mediums. Sometimes love, pain or just appreciation for the life I’ve been given, this gift to be creative that resides in all of us, I always tell myself “wow, that’s cool I did that, unbelievable”.
What would you do with $25,000?I have lived what some may consider a difficult life. This would be a great and grand reset button. Allow me the opportunity to get back to stability and set up, able to give back to the community and people I love through art, free of scarcity. I’ve never sold my art for profit, it’s for purpose and I believe it should be displayed and shared. I would pay off some debt that’s been crippling and move forward in life with even more gratitude. Currently, I say, I have the things money can’t buy. 3
