I create art to uplift my community, bring light in dark times, and unite people and sports fans through culture, passion, and pride.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite art to create is mixed media—blending illustration, photography, typography, and texture to build bold, layered visuals. With the Mavericks, it’s about capturing that in-arena energy and turning it into something emotional and culturally driven—where sports, community, and storytelling collide to create pieces that feel alive, intentional, and impactful.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in culture, music, film, and real conversations—especially rooted in my Mexico City upbringing and the energy of Dallas. It comes from everyday moments, community stories, and the emotions around the game. Whether it’s a song, a street texture, or a fan’s reaction, I translate those experiences into visuals that feel authentic, alive, and connected.
What would you do with $25,000?I’d use the $25,000 to support my family by paying off important debts, support my father in Mexico City, and invest in building a small creative studio—giving me the space and tools to keep growing my work and creating for my community.
