I am a multimedia artist, with my favorite focus being painting. I find my greatest expression in fusing the foundational wisdom of the masters throughout the ages with the expansive tools presenting themselves to us today. By joining classical discipline with the possibilities and the advances of the digital frontier, I am able to reach a new level of expression personally that fuses the best of the old world with the best of the new.
Where do you find inspiration?My inspiration is found in the eternal beauty of nature and the fundamental truth of geometry. I am moved by the human figure and the shifting spirit of the seasons—how spring yields to summer and autumn fades into winter. I seek to capture the way light breaks through clouds and the sea meets the shore. In these cycles, I find a divine order that guides my hand, allowing me to translate the living breath of the world.
What would you do with $25,000?This award would be a vital engine at a definitive moment in my career. After years of sacrifice, I am ready to publish and exhibit a major body of work, and these funds would allow me to share that vision with the world with the precision it deserves. I would channel every dollar into the tools and archival materials necessary to meet the high standards of my practice, ensuring my life’s work reaches the global audience it is meant for.
