I'm a photojournalist and documentary photographer at heart. I loved to tell peoples story through the lens of my camera. This was in the black and white film days. I have had to replace my museum pieces with digital mirrorless cameras. I have really embraced digital post production, I print my work myself and learning my digital camera. I love nature and macro photography now. I'm actually learning to be comfortable using a tripod now.

I find Macro Photography very inspiring. It gets me out into nature. I love photographing things that people would normally never see. It takes me off autopilot and makes me slow down. I practice mindfulness and looking at things from its perspective.

My oldest daughter has had heart issues since she was a baby and just recently had a heart transplant. She is 33. I'm so happy for her living the fullness of her life now. She has a small house and owes 28,000 left on it. She can't work and I would pay her house off for her. I'd love to give her the safety of knowing she doesn't have to worry about her house. I'm not going to be around forever.
