This a funny question. An artist is someone who creates their own world about them . I use the confines of canvas to lay on paint and build upon the work till it makes a whole illusion that may work. A good outcome is often you do not tire of . It may remind you of somewhere a memory or an emotion A happiness or a sadness . Each of us has our own memory and sense of life. A successful work causes the right people to be moved by it. As an artist you are constantly looking for something beyond .
Where do you find inspiration?In the natural world . I grew up with a lot of freedom to explore sandstone shores, fields and woods . Many artisans creating lived on the island . It was the seventies . My family encouraged me to paint. My sister loved books and this was always in bookshops as a book seller who read extensively.
What would you do with $25,000?First pay off debts . Next get all the things I might need and too look about to make sure friends and family were helped . I love to be able to spend time in Europe painting . I am most curious about Turkey. I have a lovely son of 24 who I could help. He like to be in aviation mechanics . I love to put some aside safely for the times there is not money.
