Art is a language that speaks to all people differently. You can effect big changes with little movements, I up cycle paints & teapots.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Paintings, when I find the paints at the dump, the lids have been taken off for them to dry out. The paint is thick, still life is left in this can. I’ll add a gloss, or water, and get the consistency just right. Then paint a beautiful floral using colors that were discarded as trash. I love making the stacking teapot lamps, so Alice in wonderland!
Where do you find inspiration?Life, hospice nurse for 25 yrs, you see many things and I absorb energy, I pull from that to paint happy. I’m alive, after holding hands of so many who’ve past, I’m grateful to be on this side of the bed and not in it. Not wasting time making my world beautiful. Bringing joy to others who like it as well.
What would you do with $25,000?Fund my grain bin solo art studio and home. Give classes and inspiration to the locals and host painting parties. Create art for public appreciation. Free art therapy classes. Art is the best therapy I have ever known.
