I love creating art because making something with my own hands gives ideas a life beyond imagination.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite art to create combines traditional craftsmanship with personal storytelling. I especially enjoy designing rustic artwork, and bold Nordic-inspired pieces that celebrate hard work, heritage, and creativity. Taking an idea from a rough sketch to a finished piece by hand is incredibly rewarding, and I love creating art that people can proudly display and connect with.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the things I love and experience every day—hard work, the outdoors, family heritage, music, old tools, and the craftsmanship of people who build and create with their hands. Nature, history, and everyday life all spark new ideas. I enjoy taking those influences and turning them into artwork that tells a story and reflects the values and traditions that matter most to me.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use $25,000 to build a dedicated studio space, upgrade my equipment, and devote more time to creating. It would give me the freedom to experiment with new ideas, take on larger projects, and bring more of my artistic vision to life. I would also invest in promoting my work so I could connect with more people and continue turning my passion for art into something that inspires others.
