I create poetry to express my thoughts. I draw and paint to appreciate form and contrast. I shape my body so my art is always with me.

Painting brings me the most peace. I took an art class while getting my Associates degree and found it helps me enter the flow the state like none other. I’m excited to see where that goes. And I hope my skills will catch up to the ideas I see in my mind. However, poetry and writing is where I call home. I enjoy pulling words out of the darkness to express ideas, feelings, experiences, and capture moments. I have many note books scattered with poetry, sketches, and lists.
Where do you find inspiration?I have a passion for philosophy. I took philosophy 101 and Ethics in college and enjoy the mental gymnastics it puts me through. Along with the powerful vocabulary expressed within its works. Such as contrivance, essence, and gaze. Mix that vocabulary with science podcasts and you’ll have a taste for what I contrive in the late night hours.
What would you do with $25,000?I would first, pay for my mom’s new fence around her yard she loves and enjoys taking care of. I appreciate the tranquility the yard gives to me and the fence is old and falling apart. Then I would take a trip. The stale basement air hasn’t been good for my lungs and I’d enjoy soaking in some new sights and writing about my experiences in Europe. The rest I would use towards my on going education in humanities. Be it in a classroom or observing science and nature.
