I create art to express the inspiration I see in every day. There is always something that creates a spark of imagination.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite style of art is abstract. I love the freedom of movement and energy involved in creating a piece. The ways it allows you to create are endless.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in just about everything. It sounds cliché, but I have a wondering imagination that turns random things into something I want to paint or draw. It could be a phrase, lyric, the way a shadow forms, light reflection, people, flowers, anything becomes inspiration for me. My brain works in wild ways.
What would you do with $25,000?I decided to pursue my passion for art full time after being diagnosed with bladder cancer. I took the recovery as a sign to go for it because time is fleeting. I would use the prize money to help pay for medical bills, help my mother, and create opportunities for me and other artist to share our art.
