I turn ideas into tangible art; it makes me feel in control, limitless yet bounded by my off‑time.

Painting and drawing is what I like to create because that’s where I feel the most freedom. It allows me to translate my thoughts clearly, sometimes even more than words can. Most of my paintings lean toward a surrealism mixed with abstract, a style I’ve been developing. I still feel like I’m growing into it, but that exploration is exactly what keeps me excited. My paintings are a visual representation of my mind—an attempt to capture internal worlds, emotions, and ideas in tangible form.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from many places. I’m Mexican living in the United States, but I don’t want culture to define my art; I do, however, recognize social and economic differences shape what I have to say. My favorite book is 1984 by George Orwell, which fuels a lot of my ideas. I’m inspired by artists like Salvador Dalí,Claude Monet , H.R. Giger, and Bob Ross. Life is chaotic and evolving, and so is my art.
What would you do with $25,000?If I had $25,000, I’d prioritize sustainability and growth as an artist: covering rent and living expenses for a few months to reduce stress while I create, investing in art supplies and a studio setup to explore new media, funding professional development like portfolio updates and marketing, hosting small shows to build momentum, and setting aside an emergency reserve for future uncertainties.
