I paint female faces as emotional territories where strength and vulnerability coexist. I don’t seek beauty, but truth — a gaze that breathes, observes, and gives something back to the viewer. In each piece, I honor the women who inspire my life. Every painting becomes a living presence, a universal reflection that is not explained, but felt, leaving an echo of calm, tenderness, and strength.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the women who are part of my life and daily reality. Through my work in healthcare, I witness vulnerability, strength, and resilience up close, and that deeply shapes how I see and paint. I observe beyond the surface, searching for what is not immediately visible. Each portrait is a way of honoring them, transforming real faces into emotional spaces where truth, presence, and human depth can be felt.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest the $25,000 in my artistic growth and in expanding the reach of my work. It would allow me to dedicate more time to painting, develop new projects, and bring my work into new exhibition spaces. I would also use it to continue honoring the women who inspire my art, giving greater strength and visibility to their stories through portraits that aim to connect and evoke emotion.
