My favorite type of art to create is colorful, emotional, and culture-inspired artwork that tells a story and connects people through feeling. I love creating pieces that blend healing, self-expression, and my Mexican heritage through vibrant colors and symbolism. I especially enjoy community-based art experiences where people can paint, release emotions, and reconnect with themselves through creativity. For me, art is not only something to look at — it is something to feel and experience.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in healing, human connection, and the stories people carry inside them. My Mexican roots deeply influence my art through vibrant colors, emotion, tradition, and resilience. I am also inspired by the communities I work with, especially children and families who use art as a way to express emotions, build confidence, and feel seen. For me, art is more than something visual it is a bridge between pain, transformation, culture, and hope.
What would you do with $25,000?If I won $25,000, I would invest it into growing my art academy to reach more youth and underserved communities through art. One of my biggest passions is supporting children on the autism spectrum by creating safe, creative, and healing spaces where they can express themselves freely. I would also use the opportunity to expand community art programs that celebrate culture, emotional healing, and connection.
