I love art in all its iterations- hyperrealism that anchors the gaze, abstraction that dissolves into feeling, surrealism that bends reality. Every medium I have used becomes my favorite in the moment. To truly answer the question, my favorite type of art to create is the art that insists on being made- work that stirs something visceral, the things we cannot put words to. Whether I create this through oil paint, cyanotypes, linocuts, soldering etc. It is made.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration everywhere—in the quiet systems that shape both the world and the self. The repetition of patterns in nature, the weight of passing time, and the emotional residue left in ordinary moments all inform my work. I’m drawn to how structure and chaos coexist, and I translate that tension into visual form as a way of making internal and external worlds feel visible at once.
What would you do with $25,000?I'll transform $25,000 into a 'community launchpad,' breaking the gatekeeping that stifles emerging talent. By merging a curated retail hub-plants, books, handmade goods, apparel- with a non-restricted gallery, I'll create a sustainable ecosystem where art is accessible to all. I've faced the struggle of being overlooked, and am dedicated to protecting others from the same pain. This isn't just a shop; it's a stage for the unheard, turning seed money into a permanent engine for creative mobility
