I create for connection. Animals, the sea, and the texture of paint ground me. Without art and expression through art, my heart is silent.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Ocean/animal themes bc they’re my connection to the planet. Any medium but I prefer acrylics and fabrics 🧜♀️
Where do you find inspiration?I live in the Hawaiian islands, so I’m saturated with inspiration. I create first in my head while doing farm chores 🐴🐮🐷 or riding big waves 🌊. I try to live in the light and to share my light through my art. I hope my inspiration is contagious. 😷
What would you do with $25,000?After Covid shutdowns, Maui fires & now Maui floods emptied my piggy bank 🐷, I would shed my skin of fear & take time off my day job to finish my paintings & fix our flood damaged farm fences and shelters. Having time & money to create anything is a luxury. Making a living, making a life & making art shouldn’t be separate choices. ❤️🪽
