My favorite type of art to create are works that balance serenity with intensity, blending bold color, emotional depth, and a strong sense of movement with a style that invites people to pause, reflect, and connect.
Where do you find inspiration?The natural world is a great source of inspiration to me. I relish the challenge to convey feelings and experiences through painting. Examples include the challenge of painting the ever changing sea which adds an element of unpredictability or happiness of a beloved pet.
What would you do with $25,000?I would like to invest this money in an institution that has creative projects mixing both art and science which supports cultural development. Medical illustration, data visualization, animation and visual effects are some initial ideas I have where artistic creativity with technical skills can bringing life to cutting-edge technology and be so helpful to our culture and society.
