I create because it’s the one thing that comes purely from me. It might be a painting, a Christmas tree, or simply choosing the right colors

My favorite kind of art is anything I can create with my hands. I love watching my ideas come to life—whether it’s on a canvas, through a photograph, in words on a page, or in anything that sparks inspiration. Creating allows me to turn feelings, vision, and imagination into something beautiful and real.
Where do you find inspiration?Everyday life inspires me. Sometimes it’s the way the sky looks, the colors of a sunset, or the smile on the face of someone I love. I find beauty in the little moments—the ones most people pass by—and somehow those moments spark something in me to create.
What would you do with $25,000?Being able to give my children a stable home would mean everything to me. I’m a single mom of seven, and some of my children have disabilities, so creating a life filled with love, stability, and understanding is at the heart of everything I do. Art has become one of the ways we come together. It gives us a space to create, connect, and simply enjoy being a family. Some of our most meaningful moments are spent making something with our hands, sharing laughter, and being present with one another.
