My favourite art lives at the intersection of fashion, floristry, and performance. I create floral couture — wearable pieces made from fresh flowers that are designed to be experienced, not just seen. I’m drawn to their impermanence; each piece blooms, evolves, and fades, telling a story of beauty and time. My work is about emotion, transformation, and creating moments that feel alive, fleeting, and unforgettable.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in nature’s constant transformation — the way flowers bloom, move, and fade. I’m drawn to contrast: softness and strength, beauty and decay. Fashion, music, and human emotion all shape my work, along with the energy of live creation. Travel and new environments also spark ideas, allowing me to see colour, texture, and form through a fresh lens.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in expanding my creative practice — developing a new collection and exhibition I’ve been wanting to bring to life for some time. I envision this body of work travelling, being shared with galleries, and creating opportunities to inspire others through talks and hands-on sessions alongside the exhibition. On a personal level, it would also help us establish a stable home base, giving me the grounding to create, grow, and sustain my work long term.
