Art is the only thing that I see worth doing in this life. It is the driving force to continue living. It is the best thing that humans do.

I like to make paintings from paintings of paintings. I paint from my own previous paintings, and from art history. I combine aspects of my own previous works, with specific references to art history or periods and styles. My work becomes abstract through layers of referenced sources that I combine in new paintings.
Where do you find inspiration?I’m inspired by life, nature, art history, my day to day experiences, memories, travel, conversations, random thoughts and events, and occurrences.
What would you do with $25,000?I would set up my situation so that I could only focus on painting. Maybe I would move to a country like Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, or Thailand, to lower the cost of living which would extend the amount of time for painting. I would also learn the local languages, try the food, see some of the sites, be inspired by the new experiences. I would paint, and paint, and paint, and paint. Would be nice to have a very tiny window or table garden to grow micro greens, and other fresh greens for salads.
