I paint so my soul will know I am listening. I created a collection that values feelings as well as likeness reflecting human connection.

I am a figurative and nature-based artist. I am building a cohesive body of work with a sense of empathy and narrative clarity so the work is enduring, personal and emotionally grounded. I am drawn to subjects that feel familiar and emotionally legible so the viewer's attention is held without distraction. A connection to a remembered moment, in a readable composition, that I have been drawn to and pass along to the viewer with a sense of calm, tenderness and contemplation.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from the world around us. Nature reflects the emotions of life between people, animals and landscapes that carry a sense of place. There are always tender stories that unfold in simple locations. I try to capture those moments and save them for tomorrow.
What would you do with $25,000?I would look at developing a more visible art business and place my work in appropriate galleries that viewers with a discriminating taste would appreciate.
