My favorite art to create is writing—screenplays, stage plays, and poetry. Each form offers a different way to explore human emotion and connection. Screenwriting lets me think visually and cinematically, playwriting thrives on live, shared experience, and poetry allows for abstraction and intimacy.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in everyday life—through my own experiences and the connections I share with family, friends, and relationships. The small, often overlooked moments, conversations, and emotions shape my perspective and fuel my creativity. I’m especially drawn to the complexities of human connection, using those real-life interactions as a foundation for the stories I tell.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest the $25,000 in producing bold, original work while ensuring my cast and crew are paid fairly for their artistry and labor. It would fund rehearsal space, development, and production, allowing me to elevate the scale and impact of my projects. More importantly, it would help me create work that is honest, resonant, and rooted in real human experience—stories that invite audiences to reflect, connect, and feel seen.
