Painting helps keep me balanced, emotionally and mentally. To be honest I wouldn’t call it a love, more so a need…if that makes sense.

Painting, either in Acrylic or Oil. Prefer post impressionism or Impressionisms. Sometime I paint abstract, what ever talks to me at the time. For the most part it’s painting, I do sketch in pencil, pen and ink and charcoal but I always fall back to the canvas and brush.
Where do you find inspiration?Family friends got me interested in painting young. I’ve always been involved in some form of art. I try to make most things artistically involved. Cooking, working on old autos and motorcycles. In my teens I learned how to paint automotive. It’s exciting to be part of making something bland into something eye catching. Inspiration doesn’t hit me like most I’ve talked to about it. It kinda creeps up me. Dega and Van Gogh inspired me most of all. I try to be my own inspiration, but music helps.
What would you do with $25,000?Pay off some bills, put some of it towards my old truck (68 ford f-100 short box) it’s my midlife crisis truck/daily driver. I’d just keep going, buy more art supplies. Spend some on my wife, just keep living the best I know how.
