I love creating art because I have been creating since I was very small. I have never known anything but making art and the art of creating.

My favorite type of art is mixed media art. However I truely love all kinds of art ranging from fibers with crochet and knitting to 3D arts like Ceramics and finally 2D arts like painting and drawings. However I find myself consistently draw back to collage and mixed media arts.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspriation in the people and world around me. I love collage, so finding ways to take the things that have inspired others and create something new is very inspiring to me. I’ve also recently been trying to decide what opinions and topics are important to me. I’m always very inspired by art that makes a statement or has an impact. Therefore, I have begun diving into my opinions on important topics in order to create works that might speak to myself and others.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to fund my education. I am currently trying to pursue a masters in Art Education. As a first generation student who’s parents are not rich enough to afford to pay for my university, I would use the $25,000 to help me pursue my dream of being an art educator and hopefully, help inspire the future generations of artists.
