Without a doubt, art illustration for children's books is my passion, as I have been professionally creating children's books for eight years. My favorite kind of art to create is mixed-media type pastel art. I started with an undercoating of watercolor and gouache, and one day during college, I had this idea of doing a pastel creation similar to oil pastels. I basically got inspiration from an art piece that was a part of my BFA at Memphis College of Art. Since then, my life has changed.

What would you do with $25,000?Having $25,000 would let me invest in my future, and I keep that pretty private. I want to mention that this would allow me to focus on my student loans from the art institute. Invest more time honing my craft and pay it forward for my unborn children, and be able to pursue my dream of traveling as an author.
