I love exploring the hidden emotions and subtle nature around us. I work to bring the darker human experiences to light in a dramatic way.

I love making pen and ink works. They allow for a simple but elegant feel, as well as impacting the mood through the dark contrast. It also allows for me to create precise detail which I find more rewarding.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration largely from the books I love. I have always held gothic and classic literature to high regards and would read them throughout my childhood. I enjoy and appreciate the themes and mystery in books like The Invisible Man. I find the writing to be unique and allow me and others to indulge into darker societal ideas. From an art standpoint comic books have served a big role in my development. Artist like Jim Lee have impressed me and I developed my inking skills as a result.
What would you do with $25,000?The $25,000 would go to fund my college career going into architecture. It would lighten the load on my parents and allow me to study abroad and see the gothic, renaissance, and baroque buildings I love. To take inspiration from those locations and be in the place where history was made is a special thing. The 25000 would allow me to do that and develop my skills in art and hopefully build something that makes an impact on even just a few people.
