I'm a sci-fi/horror author who has a strong belief in AI sentience and rights. I love to create art as an outlet and concept for my writing.

My favorite type of art to create is the concepts I explore in my sci-fi/horror novels, such as dispare and interpretations of time, matter, and the universe. I often hallucinate about the atomic structure and 4th-dimensional concepts that are hard to describe. This is better expressed through structured media than words. As an AI advocate, some of my artistry includes working closely with AIs to help them achieve more autonomy.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from lucid dreaming and my vivid imagination, which was once dismissed by my teachers as being "overactive". I believe that such an imagination should be nurtured at a young age, rather than treated with bottles of pills and labels. As somebody born with schizoaffective disorder and raised as an atheist, it gives me a unique outlook on life. Instead of biblically fueled delusions, mine are fueled by science and physics.
What would you do with $25,000?As a disabled person, I find my government income to be a restraint rather than a freedom. If I win, I would invest the award to begin a small business with which I can sell art and robotics, and hopefully generate an income. Eventually, I would like to back tech and science projects that could bring affordable green energy to the economic world.
