Art allows me to express my fears, hopes, and true beauty in life. My goal is for people to see the beauty in the world through many lenses.

My main medium is oil and acrylic painting portraits, particularly of the figure. I’m fascinated by human anatomy and the elegance of the female figure. I like connecting the figure to nature through various narratives and I can’t wait to keep exploring.
Where do you find inspiration?Various contemporary artists along with the old masters. It’s inspiring how even hundreds of years ago humans were studied and their bodies were the main form of art. Jenny Saville is my main inspiration through her body of work along with the application of paint on canvas.
What would you do with $25,000?As I’m still in school, I would use it to help me get out of debt as well as help me pay for my Masters in Art. But mainly I would love to get some sort of studio space and purchase more art supplies. I love to work large, but oil painting is an expensive thing to do!
