I love to bring distant worlds - both natural and fantastical - to physical life. My joy is sparking the imagination and awe of my audience.

The main bulk of my work aims to create extinct, extant, and fictitious creatures in the sculptural round, manifesting them physically into the viewer’s reality with as much realism as possible. In order to achieve this effect, attention to anatomy and realism are a large factor of my process. Texture and proportion are critical components of my sculptures, as well as finishing colors and surfaces. My preferred materials for these processes tend to be chavant and plasticine clay,
Where do you find inspiration?I am driven to produce these works by my own fascination towards fantasy and the natural world; feelings which I hope to inspire in my audience, as well. All of my art is influenced by my love of zoology, paleontology, and anatomy, which I use to create my creatures. I especially enjoy dragons and dinosaurs. In addition, I am inspired by various masters of fantasy and scifi artwork, such as Jim Henson and Stan Winston.
What would you do with $25,000?The weight of my college debt, other financial struggles, and my poor mental health have felt incredibly suffocating ever since I graduated from university. I have felt unable to find a solid artistic direction in life, and I have not been able to create artwork due to my poor mental health and financial struggles. I would put the entire sum towards my student debt in an effort to free myself of this burden and reclaim my life.
