I make art to process complicated emotions and turn my visions into life.

My favorite type of art would be either painting or printmaking. While attending the University of Maine, I fell in love with photo screen printing and mono printing overtop my screen prints! As an artist, I started seriously painting when I was 17, and began commissions a year after! Mostly painting in acrylic and watercolors.
Where do you find inspiration?I find the most inspiration through my own mental processings - life transitions, vivid dreams, and distinct beliefs. A lot of my work is aimed to let the audience linger and discover a meaning of their own through my work. A process of introspection, both for me as the creator (as a lot of my work is conceptual) and for my audience as viewers.
What would you do with $25,000?I would donate $5,000 to political foundations that support ANTIFA, mental health organizations, and organizations to help LGBTQ youth and POC. I feel that the world we live in today needs support in the political climate we are in. I would give $1,000 to each of my immediate family members, and save $2,000 for my own studio practice. The rest of the money would be put into an investment account to save for my own future and retirement.
