Creation isn’t something I choose—it moves through me like breath. A quiet, constant pulse beneath the surface of everything I am.

I move between two mediums, though they feel like extensions of the same impulse. I build surreal, intricate worlds—costumes and sets that exist somewhere between dream and design—captured through my lens and then deepened, transformed, and refined in post-production. A few years ago, that vision began to take on a more tactile form. I turned to textiles, shaping fabric into organic, living silhouettes—pieces that feel grown rather than constructed—bringing a new dimension.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration drifts between eras and disciplines—rooted in both classical and contemporary art, with a soft pull toward the raw, expressive edge of ’90s fashion. I’m drawn to contrasts: refinement and rebellion, structure and distortion, past and present in quiet conversation. Some of the works closest to me were born from cinema—the dreamlike opulence of Federico Fellini, the poetic precision of Akira Kurosawa, and the unsettling, hypnotic worlds of David Lynch.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use this award to expand my practice, creating a new body of work where sculptural textiles and constructed sets evolve into immersive, surreal narratives. It would support intricate handmade pieces, materials, and dedicated studio time. I would also invest in refined presentation through exhibition and print, allowing these imagined worlds to exist as physical, shareable experiences.
