I’m drawn to art in many forms and love experimenting across mediums, but photography is my favorite. To me, it’s a return ticket to a moment in the past. It's the closest thing we have to time travel. It allows me to preserve fleeting moments and capture the beauty of the present before it slips away.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in emotion and in the quiet details that often go unnoticed. When I am behind the lens, I am drawn to the subtle interplay between setting, light, and feeling, and I aim to capture moments in a way that reveals their deeper essence. The photograph I entered resonated with me because of the contrast within its setting, which stirred something unexpected. My goal is to preserve that sense of wonder, inviting others to see the beauty and emotion I am fortunate enough to notice.
What would you do with $25,000?I am a growing photographer and $25,000 would be life-changing because it would allow me to elevate my work and offer sessions at little to no cost. I believe portrait photography is a way to hold onto fleeting moments and connect to the past. Everyone deserves access to high quality photography. This funding would help me upgrade my camera body and lenses and rent locations without passing costs to clients. It would also allow me to offer pay what you will sessions for those who need it.
