I have always been drawn to creativity. I feel that it is an escape from reality and you can fully express yourself with the use of art.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I’ve been doing art for over a decade, and I’ve always loved to paint especially with watercolor. I always get drawn in even more watching the paint colors combine together to make a new color on the canvas. Even doing art digitally I find ways to incorporate watercolor. However, I do love to create art in other forms, pencil drawings, poetry, and photography. I believe that art comes in all forms and expressions.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration by nature itself, I see nature as a beauty and it brings me happiness to be able to add nature into art. I also like to use art to bring awareness for mental health. Van Gogh is a big inspirational artist for me as well.
What would you do with $25,000?I am currently in university to achieve my masters. I am studying clinical mental health counseling. So I would use the $25,000 to help me through college and possibly go to get an art therapy certificate. I also would donate money to animal shelters since there is an overpopulation. With any money left over, I will save it for future needs or help me build my career to help adolescents with understanding their mental health.
