What is your favorite type of art to create?

This is like asking what's my favorite food, I love it all. I have drawn since at least 1st grade(Mr. White), 5th grade college summer class(Egyptian arts), murals on bedrooms walls-yet my love of words i pour on paper rivals the photo's I capture in nature on the caost/woodlands. I work with seedbeading, leather ties and dream catchers. My favorite art - anything of mine that sparks something for the receiver. I think life is my favorite art-capture it, surreal and abstract art i connect with

Where do you find inspiration?

Damian. I draw inspiration from the world I see that most dont have time to smell, taste, hear. In nature (beach, woods, sounds, smells, animals)for the honor of my indigenous cultural ties,my life's journey, random moments of pure creations. Bob Ross, hours of inspiration. Mr. White for believing in me. Love my smock! Love, joy, pain anguish. Working/caring(for) with Veteran's and Centennials. Music helps put words to paper or a doodle that stains my next henna creations. Inspiration from within

What would you do with $25,000?

I was hit bicycling home from work 3 years ago, I have been out of a 14 year career, a college degree I was pursuing to work in radiology, a BHP, and ED TECH 1...what i would do i would stop worrying about being homeless every month and breath easy, stop just surviving. Travel, see something new...Italy where my ancestors are, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Bass River, to my other ancestors, Ireland, Scotland. Invest. Get small space that has running water on property-summer camp. Home
