I love painting in oils - it allows great manipulation and expression. My venture into sculpture is just as satisfying and I love to abstract and express in the 3rd dimension.
Where do you find inspiration?My inspiration is relative to my own story but also to stories shared by others. The ideas for my work emerge as I study identity, relationship challenges, as well as my drive to foster meaningful conversations and connections.
What would you do with $25,000?My intent is to further investigate the sociocultural forces that shape identity and belonging by developing my sculptural work to intersect deeply with my paintings, culminating to a new body of work.
