What is your favorite type of art to create?

My favorite is paint on canvas, using each piece as a way to express what words cannot. My work is driven by feeling and capturing strength, stillness, and soul through layered detail, texture, and light. I am especially drawn to the quiet power within my subjects, and I aim to bring that presence forward in a way that feels alive and deeply human. Every brushstroke is intentional, building not just an image, but an emotional connection between the viewer and the story within the art.

Where do you find inspiration?

My inspiration comes from the meeting point of nature and emotion. I also pull from personal feeling, turning what’s unspoken into visual form through texture, light, and detail. Observation plays a big role too; I notice how fur moves, how light falls, and how stillness can hold power. My inspiration is ultimately what I see, feel, and quietly interpret

What would you do with $25,000?

I’d invest $25,000 into elevating my art practice by upgrading my studio for better workflow, lighting, and space for larger pieces. I’d buy higher-quality paints, canvases, and brushes to refine detail and texture. I’d also invest in professional photos, a strong online presence, and marketing to reach collectors. Finally, I’d keep some for creative freedom, time to experiment, study subjects, and grow without pressure.
