Where do you find inspiration?My paintings are autobiographical. Most of my paintings carry stories behind them that fall somewhere between memory and imagination. I’m influenced by childhood memories, ancestral connections and places that had an impact on me and my development as a person.
What would you do with $25,000?I’m currently trying to save up for a down payment on a building where we can open a studio, gallery and performance space. If I were lucky enough to acquire $25,000, I would put it toward that down payment.
