While I believe all forms of art are valuable and worthy of creation, my personal favorite outlet is acrylic painting. Acrylics are versatile, flexible, and most importantly, forgiving. The rich color pallets and fast drying time allow me to experiment and stretch my creative ideas and new and different ways.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from the grandest to the most mundane. Regardless, it is the power of light that moves me to create. Beyond the visual perception, the emotions that certain shapes, colors and words invoke are powerful tools in my process.
What would you do with $25,000?If money was not an issue, I would love to participate in some of the amazing workshops, led by premier artists, all over the world. In addition. as a retired teacher, I would like to be able to sponsor gifted young people in summer art workshop programs.
