Advanced to the Top 15

Karissa Marshall

I love to get close as I can to animals/insects and create sharp images of them. I love to create storylines to make someone feel something.

What is your favorite type of art to create?

My favorite type of art is photography. Nature/atmospheric photography, conceptual/spooky imagery, nature photography. I love doing storytelling through photography when I can. With a eerie or emotional tone to them.

Where do you find inspiration?

The storytelling eerie photography, I find inspiration from movies or shows. I love scary movies, Tim Burton movies of course. And I love true crime podcasts and documentaries. The nature/atmospheric photography, I just love driving around or walking and taking pictures of what I see.

What would you do with $25,000?

I would buy better gear for my camera to continue my photography. A lens or two. And pay off a credit card of mine. My cat Kitty went through radiation and chemotherapy last year and it was very expensive. And it would help a lot to pay it off.
