I create art to capture fleeting moments, reveal unseen emotions, and make the invisible stories of life visible.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
If I had to pick, I’d lean toward art that captures real human moments—things that feel unfiltered and emotionally honest. The kind of work where you’re not just looking at it, you’re feeling it. That could be street photography, intimate portraits, or even storytelling through candid scenes—anything where the subject forgets the camera is there and just is. That kind of art sticks because it’s not about perfection—it’s about truth.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration usually comes from real life more than anything staged. It’s in small, in-between moments—people on the street, a quiet expression, the way light falls at the end of the day. Those are the scenes that feel honest and worth capturing. And honestly, personal experiences play a big role too. Whatever you’re going through—good or hard—tends to shape what you notice and how you choose to capture it.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I’d take care of the people who’ve always taken care of me first—help my family with anything they need and give them a little breathing room. That part matters the most. After that, I’d invest in my photography—upgrading my gear, printing my work, and putting myself in new places where I can keep capturing real, meaningful moments. It wouldn’t just be about the money—it’d be about creating stability for my family and building a life where I can keep telling honest stories through
