The art I create is joyful, luminous, and filled with color. My style blends Impressionism, Abstraction, and Realism, rooted in my Mayan and Latin American heritage. I honor Mother Nature through flowers, birds, and the human figure. Inspired by stained-glass windows, I explore light and color as spiritual elements. Through my work, I create an imagined world shaped by color, light, and Spirit that uplifts, inspires, & blesses humanity. My aim is to bring supreme joy and light with my paintings.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in Mother Nature. I grew up in El Salvador, in lush landscapes of rivers & volcanoes. I spent childhood summers in Sonsonate, known as “400 eyes of water,” rich in rivers & lakes. These experiences shaped my awe of Nature. My art reflects luminosity and the inner light of Spirit. I’m grateful to God for the gift of art as a humble expression of my soul. As an artist, I am humbled to be able to express Beauty and Spiritual Ideas through my art. My Inspiration comes from Spirit.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in a home in DC with a large art studio, large windows, & a skylight for natural light. I would support my elderly parents, my aunt in El Salvador, and my siblings financially and with their health needs. I would use part of the money to become a full-time artist—covering supplies, storage for paintings, and living expenses, allowing me to reduce my museum work to one day a week. Remaining funds would go into savings to grow my art career & support my portrait and gallery sales.
