While I enjoy all forms of art my go to is mixed media because of my love for travel. It’s an opportunity for me to incorporate history, antiques and treasures I find along the way that I find interesting. I think it adds to my art work and inspires my imagination and allows me a unique way to tell a story. By combining my treasures with hand painted acrylics on canvas in an abstract colorful manor, I hope to create art allowing the beholder to discover something new at each glance.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in travel and the people I meet along the way and the history of each unique city and culture. I learn and then I create. I bring back home the memories and stories I’ve heard along the way as well as things given to me or found and let my imagination tell a story through my art.
What would you do with $25,000?I would donate a portion to my local co-op art gallery, finish my art studio and then I would attend an art workshop of one of my favorite artist because continuing to improve and be inspired is part of my journey.
