Art gives me freedom. Through photography, I shift perception, connect people, and create work that can truly make an impact.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Photography is my favorite form of art because it gives me a sense of freedom I haven’t found anywhere else. Through it, I can slow time, reshape perception, and reveal what often goes unseen. It deepens my connection to myself, others, and the world. I believe images carry energy, and when created with intention, they can shift how we feel, think, and relate, inspiring awareness and meaningful change.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration everywhere, but mostly in people and their stories, what exists beneath the surface. I’m drawn to the unspoken, the moments when a mask drops and something real appears. I’m especially inspired by musicians when they’re so immersed in their art that they seem outside their bodies, connected to something higher, channeling that energy into the audience.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest it into my foundation, Mission11.org to create more meaningful campaigns rooted in purpose. I’ve already seen how photography can move people and create real impact when used with intention. This is what drives me. From environmental issues to human and animal rights, our missions are deeply personal, and this support would allow me to expand the work I feel truly called to do.
