I create in many ways but my favorite is painting mixed media. It brings me back the memories of my childhood where I learned to paint by my Artist Grandfather. He taught me the freedom to combine, experiment and create something that feels personal and alive.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration for me begins with something greater than myself. There are moments in my creative process where I feel more like a vessel than the source. Ultimately inspiration is everywhere and the simple act of creating. It’s not something I chase. It’s something I stay open too and it continues to surprise me!
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest it directly into creating more opportunities for others to experience and explore creativity. It would allow me to grow something that extends beyond my own work and into the community where other’s can learn, explore and be inspired.
