Mixing mediums and genres in unexpected ways lights a spark in me. Lately that is taking the form of integrating printmaking and painting into ceramic elements for mosaics which also utilize found/symbolic objects, glass, and natural materials.
Where do you find inspiration?The experience of meditation has been a recurring theme in my work throughout the years, as has drawing upon the beauty of the natural world. I find inspiration in so many artists that came before us, in music, in nature overtaking industrial structures, and in spiritual symbolism.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to create new work and launch an art website.
