I love to create art because it allows me to express my emotions, spread beauty, joy, and love out into the world, and remember who I am.

My favorite type of art to create are acrylic and oil paintings that depict beauty, hope, groundedness, resilience, desire, love, and determination. Currently, I love painting women and wildlife.
Where do you find inspiration?Growing up in the Philippines, and now residing in Pensacola, FL, I always find inspiration from the beach and tropical places. When I hear the ocean waves and am surrounded by palm trees, I feel the most centered. And it’s from centeredness that ideas flow in and inspiration kicks in. I also find inspiration from art galleries, festivals, and museums; seeing other artists’ approach to their art will always inspire me.
What would you do with $25,000?I would probably travel to one of my dream places: Italy, Greece, Spain, or back to the Philippines with my family. I would love to look at and make more art while there! It would also help fund the rest of my artist residency tuition in France coming up in 2027. Of course, I won’t forget to make a donation to a wildlife or environmental conservation cause or two that are near and dear to me.
